What different workspace layouts can do for you.

The workspace layout you choose defines the entire character and flow of your kitchen. Let us show you what favorable effects different shapes can have on your experience in the kitchen.

Single-wall

A single-wall workspace on one side of the room offers a space-efficient solution in compact homes. It is also a classy option in larger kitchens, and makes a perfect eat-in area when combined with a dining table or lounge furniture.

L-shaped

An L-shaped workspace stretches across two adjacent and perpendicular walls. This creates an open eat-in area when combined with a compact dining table and chairs, perfect for more intimate get-togethers and conversations.

U-shaped / G-shaped

A U-shaped workspace is a space-efficient layout that guarantees more storage. Typically designed for one primary cook in a compact home, it also works for professional use in large, open settings when combined with an island on one side.

A G-shaped workspace can be created by extending the counter even further on one end to maximise storage and working space.

Island

An Island is one of the most popular designs as it offers great practical flexibility to serve as both a workspace or an elevated dining table. Unattached to any walls or counters, it is perfect for loved-ones to gather round for an intimate kitchen experience.

Galley

A galley uses two opposite walls for maximum storage. This arrangement works great if you have a window on one end of the room and a door on the other. In larger and more open spaces, the second countertop can separate the cooking and the living areas.
